Today we finished our first pass on the snagging list. This is a preliminary snagging exercise, before we have the proper snagging meeting with Maria and her team in mid September. Andreas, Nikos, Catrin and I went through eleven pages of issues. Some of the biggest items are:
- The painters stored the paint jars on the tiles and natural stone. Stains are all over the place.
- Catrin´s shower is not level so the water does not flow into the drain
- The pool is loosing water. Also, the pipes at the overflow basin are too high.
- Axels hardwood floor has many hollow spots because the glue down has not been applied properly
- The wooden pannels on the outside have edges and need to be sanded
- Hard to believe: the stainless steel already collects rust... this is an anoying issue.
Andreas said that from today’s point of view 15 Sept is a feasible moving date. Not all subcontractors are back from holidays yet.
