Today Christakis started working on the pleasure part of the villa – our swimming pool. However, phase one is the construction of the basement storage room. It is 220 cm deep into the ground. As the basis of our property is solid rock, heavy equipment is needed.
Cypriots love German engineered stuff: the heavy machine is made in Germany. Even better… it is manufactured in Berlin, even better…. It is manufactured in Berlin-Spandau, maybe 5 minutes from where Axel and I went to school. It is a small world….
