Scandia - Installation Service is pretty bad...

We have had a large number of suppliers and subcontractors working on our villa. Scandia is a long established chain of Home Entertainment Products, Built-In Appliances, Cooling and Heating devices aso. My sister has been buying in the Pafos shop for 7 years. The staff at the shop is exceptional nice and helpful. When we had to buy our kitchen appliances (fridge, dishwasher, Microwave aso) we went to see them. Although they did not offer discount prices, we bought because of the relationship.

We expected the installation and service team to be equally nice as the store team. However, we were rather disappointed with their service:

 

• The team must have had a bad day. They were rude and careless
• They moved the washing machine over our hardwood floors leaving big marks and scratches behind
• My dishwasher was not connected to the pipe system. The hose was stuck through an opening between the sink and the cabinet
• Catrin´s cooker was lifted into the opening leaving the isolation tape sticking out
• The exhaust hood in Catrin´s kitchen is full of scratches. The dust and little rocks from drilling went into the motor. When we turn on the hood it sounds like someone grinds rocks in a mill
• They left the construction site all dirty, with plaster drill spills all over, plastic and paper rapping laying all over the kitchen
• The corean tabletop was scratched from their tools and sharp eges.

We went to the Skandia Pafos shop and complaint about this lousy service last week. In particular we wanted the hood to be cleaned, the scratches should be repaired and the motor needs to be cleaned from the rocks inside. We were promised that someone will look into it. My sister trusted them and paid the open balance … and now we are waiting, and waiting and waiting…
