5 May 2008 Meeting with Pafilia Operations Manager

Meeting with the Pafilia Operations Manager Andreas and Catrin regarding the Status Quo:

1. Axel's Level:
Axel raised the topic of quality issues with regards to the reinforced concrete. (see also comment on our web page dated 27.4.2008 - Quality issues with reinforced concrete).

Andreas told me that the adjustment is done shortly before the concrete is poured. This is done because plumbers, electricians and other craftsmen are walking on the iron and if they do it before it may slip. The thickness of the iron is 16mm instead of 12mm.

2. False ceiling on Ground Level
I told Andreas that I have not finally decided regarding false ceilings on my floor. Andreas said this is no problem and he will tell the electrician accordingly. He discussed this point last week with Christakis already. He told him to continue the work without false ceilings.

3. Pool
The depth of the pool will be levelled at 1,30 m (before 90cm – 160 cm). Andreas mentioned that possibly 2 steps need to be added. This will be discussed when the pool is being build.

4. Doors and Windows
All doors and windows – inside and out – will be 250cm high. This is according with the architectural plans. The error of having 220cm in some drawings and 250 cm in other drawings is Pafilias fault. Andreas pointed out this will generate no extra charge for us.

5. Electrical plans Ground Floor
Andreas asked me to give him any changes to the electrical plans by next week (20 week in 2008).

6. Extra costs, surcharges and delays
Once again we had a discussion regarding extra costs for alterations / changes to the contract specifications. Andreas ensured me that we will be informed of any cost changes – plus or minus – before they occur. He pointed out this is common practise at Pafilia. Also, we will be informed if the changes will lead to a delay.
