Thursday, 7.2.2008: Meeting with the architect Said, Viktoras , Catrin and Axel

We discussed Axel's Kitchen, bathroom, floor and windows

The kitchen will have an islandt with a table for 4 persons. The table top should  stand out about 5-7 cm in order to habe a better standing position while cooking. The kitchen table will fold so it leaves more room when only two people utilize the table. The important thing is, that Axel has always the chance to sit in a comfortable position. Axel wants integrated lights in the cupboards. The dishwasher was missing in the drawings. Said has to integrate the dishwasher. It could be a smaller size dw than 60cm.

Bathroom - we got today the design-idea of the bathroom. Only little changes. Axel doesn't want a glass-wall next to the shower. Next meeting we will go to choose the tiles and the colours.

Axel choose for the appartment a laminate floor. Company Quick-Step. Colour 1001 (oak), however, final decision is to be made when the overall material is selected.

Windows - we discussed about the best window-system for upstairs.  Axel wants in his bedroom on the righthand side 1 sliding-door plus fixed-glass. In the front facing the sea 4 folding-doors to open from the garden to the right side/ outside. We discussed adjustable sun protection systems for the outside (louvred blinds). Said needs to do plans for this.

Said showed us the wood for the deck and the facade (erokko?-wood).

We have to speak with Takis about the sockets.

Catrin wants to change the size of the mainentrance door. Not a doubledoor any more. Only one door size ca. 1,10m.

When Axel is coming back in march we are going with the administrator (Maria) and Said to Stelios, to see the windows.

Said said again that he is very close to the budget with all the changes.

Viktoras will prepare the changes in the plans and forward pdf copies by email to Axel within the next 5 days.

The next meeting with Said, Victoras and Catrin is on thursday, the 14.2.08 to discuss the kitchen, the bathrooms and some more details.
