04 Feb 2008 Meeting with Pafilia Architects

Meeting at 4 pm in Pafilia Office. Participants: Architect Said, Victoras, Catrin, Axel

The following topics were discussed:

Plans regarding the First Floor:

1. Bathroom – High level design changes are accepted. Said will now prepare the detail plans for the bathroom
2. Outside door next to closet: The door used to be a window. Reason for change in plan unclear. After brief discussion agreed to leave the door.
3. Closet: High level design changes are accepted.
4. Dividing door between bedroom and living room: The wall will be moved back by about 45 cm in order to have a larger opening for more “loft character”. The door will consist of 2 sliding elements. The 2 elements will be covered by  plasterboard on one side and a stone wall on the other side.
5. Living room – no change
6. Stairway: the stairway is changed according to the drawing. New plans are being drawn up until Thursday, 7 Feb 2008. The niche on top of stairway will be appropriate for electricity fuse box. The door will open into the stairway, not into the room.
7. Guest bathroom will be reduced to 2,25m. No dividing door between sink and toilet.
8. The kitchen needs do be redrawn. The overall concept seems ok, but without further details Axel cannot envision, how the kitchen shall look like. Said agreed to give details in 1:20 scale until Feb 7, 2008
9. Utility Room: Axel agreed no dryer is required. Detail plan in line with new staircase drawing. 

Others:

Catrin asked, if the foundation at it´s current state of the construction allows for the bathtub to be lowered into the floor. Said called the project manager. He confirmed that another layer of 45cm concrete is to be poured on the current foundation. A cavity for the bathtub will then be build into the concrete.
